Eye on Farmworker Health: April 2014
A summary of research and policy on farmworker health issues. This issue focuses on: female farmworkers’ perceptions of heat related illness and pregnancy health, severe pesticide-related illnesses in toddlers, using focus groups to identify barriers to the prevention and treatment of heat-related illnesses, and beliefs of different groups of farmworker educators, in addition to a policy update reviewing the changes to the Worker Protection Standard.
