Health is a basic need and right for everyone. Farmworkers’ living and working conditions contribute to poor health outcomes. However, farmworkers and their families face numerous challenges to health care access. These challenges include lack of health insurance, lack of familiarity with the U.S. health care system, transportation, cultural and linguistic barriers, and immigration status.

Farmworker Justice seeks to improve farmworker occupational safety, health, and health care access through community partnerships, health promotion and education, and policy advocacy.  Visit our Resource Center to access our health materials, including issue briefs, fact sheets, guides, trainings, illustrated brochures for farmworker families, and our Health Policy Bulletin.
